Junior League of San Joaquin County helped  start the year off right at Pittman Charter School with its Second Annual Ready to Learn Backpack Distribution to kindergarten through fifth grade students . Each student received a brand new back pack stuffed with school supplies.  The distribution was held on Tuesday, July 27 at 1 p.m.

Junior League of San Joaquin County adopted Pittman School in 2009.  Since that time, they have donated books, volunteered as tutors and sent eleven students to Outdoor Education (science camp) .
